Yesterday, October 14, 2025, western calendar, the commemoration of the 471 years’ parinirvana of the Eighth Gyalwang Karmapa MIKYO DORJE took place as scheduled, lasting more than two and half hours and completing the ceremony perfectly. The Seventeenth Karmapa, reciting the merits of the practice of remembrance that day, then lead the four kinds of buddha disciples and devotees from all corners of the world in a devout commemoration of the Eighth Gyalwang Karmapa with traditional lineage songs. 

During the ceremony, His holinees Karmapa guiding and reviewed the Kagyu tradition of study, reflection, and practice, concluding with a sadhana from the Kagyu lineage traditionally, one source of the authentic Dharma. Through this commemoration opened the door of their own inner peace of all those who had come to, not only benefit the beginners, also awakening mature disciples and students awareness and enhance their level of enlightenment.
